Max Daalhuizen [M. LA]

Max is a landscape architect and project manager at BOOM Landscape. He has a background in installation art and graphic design. After graduating from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, he made several landscape-related installations. Based on his interests as a designer and his curiosity for exploring the boundary between nature and culture, Max then started the master’s track in landscape architecture at the Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam. Max works on projects of different scales: from provincial visions to the design of roof and courtyard gardens, and from fish passages to beach promenades. His approach to the profession is conceptual, strategic and activist.
