The workshops, &#8216;Towards 2050&#8217;, organised by office <a href=\"http:\/\/venhoevencs.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Venhoeven CS<\/a> unites Dutch and Chinese professionals active in the field of urban development with private individuals and government bodies. During a series of workshops, planners, architects, designers, policy-makers and developers will develop scenarios for sustainable urban development. Beijing Design Week 2013 is the platform for the first series of workshops, after which other Chinese cities will follow.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large image-206\" src=\"https:\/\/boomlandscape.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/towards2050-1024x599-1024x599.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"599\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The results of the workshop will be presented at 28 september 2013 at the &#8216;Gasometer\/Tank&#8217;. Thijs Van Spaandonk (co\u00f6rdinator) Urban planner VenhoevenCS architecture+urbanism.<\/p>\n<p>Towards 2050 is a follow-up of the research project <a href=\"http:\/\/venhoevencs.nl\/projects\/delhi-2050\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Delhi 2050<\/a> in 2011 and 2012, commissioned by Dutch Design Fashion &amp; Architecture, Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment, International Architecture Biennale of Rotterdam (IABR).
