Royal visit Nagele

His Royal Majesty King Willem-Alexander will visit the village of Nagele on the 29th of June. The public space at the centre of the village, designed by BOOM Landscape, has recently been completed. The King and the Queen of the Netherlands are going to have a look how the renovation of the houses designed in the fifties and the new public space of this unique modernistic village has been executed. BOOM designs two waterfront boulevards at Albanian Riviera

We have won the tender for making the design for two boulevards at the undiscovered Albanian Riviera! BOOM Landscape will be responsible for making the design of the boulevards that together have a length of over 3000 meter at the shore of the villages Dhermi and Jalë. We collaborate with Cityförster and our local partner is DEA-studio. Cape Square selected for Yearbook 2016

Cape Square Durrës [Albania] has been selected for the Yearbook Landscape Architecture and Urbanism  2016. Cape Square is designed by BOOM Landscape in collaboration with Cityförster.  The yearbook contains best practice projects in Landscape Architecture and Urbanism and will be published in November '16. BOOM selected for NATO site Brussels [BE]

Our strategy and plan of approach has been selected as the winner! The selection concerns the assignment of a Urban Development Strategy for a former NATO-site of 90 hectare (222 acres) in Brussels. The site is located between historical city centre, the EU-quarter and Brussel Airport and has all the potential to become a new vibrant urban district. 1010, Güller Güller, BCI and BOOM Landscape are the members of the winning team and will collaborate the next two years for this project. Yassam Valley Park awarted [TR]

Out of twenty-two entrees, the proposal of BOOM Landscape & ABOUTBLANK has been awarded with the third price. The proposal includes an urban strategy, three multi use bridges and a park design in the district Beylikdüzü in the metropolitan area of Istanbul. Read more >

Canopy Villa Park nominated

Canopy Villa park has been nominated for the 'Dirk Roosenburg' award 2015. The biennial award promotes to improve the building environment of the region of Eindhoven. The winner will be announced  on the 23th of October at the museum of contemporary art 'Van Abbemuseum'. Read more >

Railway underpass soon to be delivered

The Railway Underpass designed by BOOM Landscape in Maastricht will soon be delivered. The underpass connects two districts at the North of the city of Maastricht and and is part of a bigger masterplan to revitalize the area. BOOM Landscape collaborated with Bureau B+B, Urbis, and Arcadis. The light-art walls under the bridge are designed by Michiel Kluiters. Read more >

BOOM wins tender in Antwerp [BE]

BOOM Landscape has been selected to make a structural plan for two villages in the metropolitan area of Antwerp. BOOM Landscape successfully tendered for the project with 1010 Architecture & Urbanism and Architectuuratelier Ambiorix. The structural plan will be developed together with policy makers, inhabitants and different stake holders. BOOM Landscape at longlist Prix de Rome

'The Prix de Rome is the oldest and most prestigious award in the Netherlands for artists under the age of 40. The award dates back to 1808 when Louis Napoleon introduced the Prix de Rome in the Netherlands to promote the arts. BOOM tenders for square in Zwanenburg

BOOM Landscape has been selected to tender for making the design of the new centre square in Zwanenburg, a village near Amsterdam. We were invited by Moke Architecten to enforce the team in the final stage of the tender. The square is located at the main street of the village and a stepping stone to the village park. The complete programme of the project consists of designing a new town hall, community centre, library and the village sport centre, al combined in one building and situated at the new square. We are in the last stage of the tender and competing with four other teams. Read more >

BOOM at Exhibition Arcam ‘From Gate tot Gate’

The fastest way from A to B is a straight line. This is certainly the case for the landscape between the 'Haarlem Gate' in Amsterdam and the 'Amsterdam Gate' in Haarlem. The multitude of spheres along this fascinating, straight route of less than twenty kilometers, will be outlined with photographs, films, models and maps in the ARCAM exhibition "From Gate to Gate."
